Introduction
A comprehensive salary structure has been established for Professional and Scientific (P&S) positions. Each position has been assigned to one of ten pay grades.
Policy Statement
Each P&S position is to be assigned an appropriate pay grade within the structure based on an up-to-date position description, surveyed market values, and consideration of internal equity and university organizational relationships. Specific salary ranges to be used for the forthcoming fiscal year are distributed to department chairs each spring during the budgeting process.
