Introduction
Space is a limited resource owned by the university and available for reallocation to support the university's mission. Working with senior administration, the Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M) Space Management Office is responsible for analyzing and recommending the effective and efficient use of university facilities.
Policy Statement
The FP&M Space Management Office, in consultation with senior administration, determines the allocation of physical space to a college, unit, or department of the university. Space vacated when occupants relocate will follow the same procedure as for new space.
